HCG Diet And How It Works

I’ve been long fascinated with the HCG diet. I’ve successfully have used it to lose about 62 pounds and I’m still losing to this day. I’m just about to my target weight and I never thought I would be this close and so quickly.

I lose on average about 1+ pounds per day on the HCG drops which you use during the HCG diet. Sounds pretty unbelievable but if you follow the simple instructions it’s actually normal to lose that much per day. Everyone is a little different but I’ve seen people lose 2+ pounds per day in the first couple weeks if they have a lot to lose. And the nice thing is there aren’t any HCG diet dangers at all and it’s safe to do.

It’s simply incredible. If you don’t have a lot of weight to lose it could only be .5 pounds per day but even then you are doing SO much better than any other diet or exercise program I’ve seen.

And that’s one great thing about this diet regime. You DO NOT have to exercise! I know people who are in wheelchairs who have used this diet to lose a ton of weight.

So you really have no excuses, anybody can use Dr. Simeons HCG diet to lose a good amount of weight.

So how does it work?

Well HCG is a hormone like substance that is found in pregnant women. It is used to tap into the mother’s fat storage and use those nutrients to help feed the baby. But long ago Dr. Simeons discovered that if you inject it into dieters it will tap into their stored fat, causing them to use it as fuel and they lose weight. In order for it to tap into the stored fat though the dieter must be on a low calorie diet. But don’t worry, the HCG will be burning your stored fat, keeping you feeling full and healthy, all while losing weight.

The only downside was that the injections did have several side effects while on the HCG diet plan. But with the new invention of HCG drops that you take orally, you no longer have to use HCG injections and you can just drop the liquid right under your tongue. This eliminates any side effects, pain from injections, and also makes it a lot more affordable.

And yes, men can use it too, it’s not just for women. In fact men tend to lose weight a lot more quickly than women do on the diet and there aren’t any HCG side effects.

So you can do a 26 day round or a 40 day round. This is a low calorie diet while taking the HCG 3 times per day. Some people say the diet is 500 calories, but that is misleading because you do NOT count calories while on this program. You simply choose regular food from a list and weigh it out. It’s simple and easy to do and if you do it right you’ll avoid all HCG diet side effects.

Another good thing about it is that you don’t have to buy special and expensive meals from a company. You just go to a regular grocery story and buy regular food. It’s so simple. The only thing extra you need are your HCG drops, but that’s it.

The after your low calorie diet you do what’s called the Maintenance phase. Which is basically any food can be eaten except sugars and starches. Then after that you can do another round on the diet or if you are at your goal weight you can go back to eating regular food (in moderation of course!).

The diet helps reset your metabolism and also teaches you a lot about yourself and how food effects you. That’s why most people do NOT gain the weight back after the diet. Because you are eating regular food from the beginning and after the diet you know how to eat healthy and in moderation.
